Product concept · Knot Rewards Marketplace

The merchant reward network only Knot can build.

CardSwitcher built the merchant relationship. TransactionLink™ made Knot the only entity that knows exactly what was purchased — not just where. The next product closes the loop: a two-sided marketplace connecting merchants who want demand at the SKU level with cardholders at exactly the right moment.

🏪
Merchants need SKU-level targeting
CPG brands spend billions on untargeted coupons. They want to reach buyers who purchased a competitor product last month — or lapsed on their own. No existing network can do this without receipt data.
🗂️
Knot has the unique data layer
TransactionLink™ doesn't just see "Walmart" — it sees Tide Pods Original, 92oz. That SKU-level signal is the targeting layer the industry never had. It exists only inside the Knot network.
🏦
Banks want differentiated rewards
Every bank offers generic cashback. "Earn $0.75 on Celsius drinks this week" — personalized, timely, non-replicable — is what banks need to deepen cardholder engagement and win against Apple Card.

The flywheel

Each step reinforces the next. More merchants → richer offers → more bank adoption → more cardholder volume → better merchant ROI → more campaigns.

Why this creates a new revenue model for Knot

Today Knot earns on card switches and account updates — transaction volume–driven, tied to card reissue cycles. The rewards marketplace adds a media/distribution layer: merchants pay Knot a take rate on every redeemed reward. That revenue is recurring, independent of card replacement cycles, and scales with both merchant inventory and cardholder volume simultaneously. It's the product that turns Knot's connectivity into a platform business.

The cardholder experience

Follow the interaction on the phone. Each step happens without friction — one tap to add, zero taps to redeem.

1
Personalized offer in the bank app
Knot routes the P&G campaign to eligible cardholders across the network. The offer surfaces inside Bilt — not a coupons app, not an email. It's where the cardholder is already managing their money, which is why conversion is higher.
2
One tap to add
No clipping, no barcode, no account linking. Tap "Add to wallet" and Knot registers the intent — it will now watch for this specific SKU across all connected merchants. The cardholder's job is done.
3
Purchase detected automatically
When the cardholder buys Tide Pods at Walmart, TransactionLink™ identifies the exact SKU from the transaction data stream — not just "Walmart," but the specific product. No receipt upload. No manual claim. The trigger is fully automatic.
4
Reward credited. No action required.
$0.75 appears in the Bilt balance within 24 hours. P&G pays Knot. Knot pays Bilt. Bilt credits the cardholder. The entire loop — offer discovery to redemption — closes without the cardholder doing anything after the first tap.
First tap "Add to wallet" on the phone, then come back here.
